2012 Swap Meet
On Jan. 8th, The Celina Flying Sportsmen held their annual Swap Meet at the Celina Senior High School Gym. We had the biggest turn out ever and sold over 100 tables to vendors and RC hobbyists to display their equipment. We had many planes , helicopters, cars and boats and even had a Air Swimmer helium shark flying around in the cafeteria that the kids enjoyed. There were people there from over 2 hrs. away and we believe that this is the largest swap meet in the state. We had door prizes, a 50/50 drawing and the concession stand was busy all morning selling coffee, pop and sandwiches. I would like to personally thank all of the members that helped in set up and tear down and running the concession stand and selling tickets at the door. It is a lot of hard work but a great money maker for our Club.

Recent Upgrades
We replaced our old shelter with 2 - 12x21 carports installed end to end. This makes a real nice upgrade to our field. We have also added more electrical outlets and will be installing rope lighting later.
